I am making them available for immediate download as a .pdf or as a spiral bound book under the title of Catch The Enthusiasm. Proceeds will go toward the cost of publication and shipping. Anything over will go to support the ministries below, or others like them, as the Lord leads. |
But what about the Bible? I thought that was the last time He talked. My pastor says everything we need to know is in there, and people who think they hear from God probably need medication. Well, let's think about this for a minute. Didn't Jesus say He had many more things to say, and that when the Holy Spirit came He would speak to us? Is that true or isn't it? Does He just give us a positive sense of well-being when we are going in the right direction and a very bad feeling when we aren't, or can He clearly and specifically speak entire sentences to us? I believe He does both. Have you ever looked up the word Enthusiasm? I did, after the Lord spoke to me about others "catching the enthusiasm." I wondered exactly what the meaning was. I have found He knows my language better than I do, so I looked it up and was quite surprised at what Webster's said: ENTHUSIASM: Belief in special revelations of the Holy Spirit. I'm sure some who are reading are immediately thinking, Watch out! This is a cult person who thinks they are receiving new revelations from God contrary to the Word! Not at all. How about special revelations that are totally Biblical, yet increase our understanding of the Word, like something the Lord told me recently, "Begin each day with Psalms of praise." I believe the Lord speaks often but few hear. I also believe we can incline our ears to hear. I did so and He began to speak very clearly to me, much to my surprise and delight. The things He has spoken have been life transforming for me. He has been my personal, spiritual life Coach, and as I have acted on His instructions, I have experienced greatly increased freedom. Do you remember Jesus said, ". . . you shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free." He also said, "When He, the Spirit of truth, comes, He will guide you into all truth." Well, if the Spirit of truth guides us into all truth we could certainly expect to get freer and freer, right? And how does He guide us into all truth? Jesus said He would "speak," and my experience is that He does speak, and is eager to speak, and greatly enjoys it when people actually listen. Smile. As I have shared the things He has spoken to me with friends, they have been greatly enriched and have requested copies. As one friend stated, "These words really sharpen me, I want a copy to be able to read over and over again." As a result I have put many of the things He has spoken to me in book form to share with friends and family, as the Lord has allowed. |
Interesting question, no? It is an important question also, and one I have answered for myself with a resounding, yes! Of course He still speaks. He is the living Word and desires to speak words of life to us. |
